Professional Areas of Interest – My dream as a Physician Assistant is to provide compassionate, patient-centered and evidence-based medicine to people of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc! I aspire to educate the community on preventative health care, maintenance of effective health habits and promote overall well-being of the body, mind and spirit.
Personal Information – I am from Lake Lotawana, Missouri and graduated from Lee’s Summit North High School. I received my Undergraduate Degree in Biochemistry from Lindenwood University. Prior to Physician Assistant School, I gathered medical experience as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant, LASIK Surgery Assistant, Emergency Room Technician, EMT-B and Scribe. Building trusting and lasting relationships with my patients, coworkers, colleagues and collaborating physicians is one of my biggest goals. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, kayaking, wakeboarding, playing softball and traveling. I am involved with the Medical Missions Foundation of Kansas City and have traveled to Africa, Romania, Ecuador and Guatemala, providing healthcare to underserved populations. Lastly, I spend some of my spare time volunteering for the Optimist Club, which is a non-profit organization benefiting the youth of our community.
